And so it begins…

After years of planning and dreaming, it’s finally happening.

We sold the house, the cars, and most of our possessions, and we are now actually living abroad. Current location: Lisbon, Portugal. Is it exciting? Yes. Scary? A little bit! We’re across the pond from family, friends, everything we knew and loved, and we’re on our own in this place where we’re just barely learning the language and hardly know anyone at all. And we’re doing alright.

We know the adjustment is not always going to be easy. We’re mentally preparing for the ways that this will be a true test of our relationship and our grit. But I think we might just be ready for an adventure: stay tuned.
